Shalom Circle currently supports a variety of ministries locally, regionally and globally. In addition to our ministry support the Shalom Circle also:
- Oversees and maintains the church kitchen
- Plans and provides food for funeral meals
- Provides memorials to the church or designated charity for deceased church members
- Provides refreshments for the annual Easter sunrise service
- Assists with refreshments during Vacation Bible School
- Provides monetary gifts or showers for weddings and babies in our congregation
- Hosts brunches for circle members celebrating their 90th birthdays
Proceeds from various fund raisers as well as our yearly December dinner and auction help fund our ministry programs.
Shalom Circle meets monthly on the first Saturday at 10:00 AM in the fellowship hall of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church. There are no meetings held in July and August. The December meeting is held as a church-wide dinner and auction. We invite you to come and learn more about ways you can live out our mission to reflect, grow, and serve.
