Worship We gather in worship to copy the actions of the early church as they “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers”.   (Acts 2:42) We gather in a sacred place where God reaches down to connect the human with the divine.     Ears are open to hear the Word inside the words.         Eyes are closed to offer our confessions, thanksgivings and petitions.     Mouths are open to sing God’s praise, be nourished with     the gifts of Holy Communion and greet the stranger in     our midst.     Hearts are open to invite Christ to take up permanent     residence in our lives.     Doors are opened to receive the benediction and be sent in     to the world as the ambassadors of good news.     Thanks be to God. As a church that is "Reformed and always re-forming" we work in each age to present the Gospel in ways that are meaningful to that generation. Our worship is traditional in form but relevant in its content.   It reflects the various gifts of the Spirit that our congregation and ministers have been given, both young and old. In worship we come to God thoughtfully and prayerfully.   But we also worship with joy and gratitude, and we worship in fellowship and friendship together.   We invite you to join us.
